The south side of Chicago gets a bad rap but our man Kenneth is here to tell you otherwise. As a born and raised South Sider, he knows what you are thinking, gun violence, rappers like Chief Keef, or best case the White Sox. And not to say he doesn't bump drill music from time to time but when he thinks of the South Side, he thinks of the love and community. He wanted to change things and as his lifelong passion was photography, he grabbed his camera and got to work. He's now hometown famous for his art book I AM ENGLEWOOD, which shows off the soul of his home neighborhood. While we could have just taken his word for it, we decided to take Kenneth up on a proper locals tour recently. From Englewood's rich history dating back to the worlds fair, can't beat backyard BBQ, a fresh line up from his go-to barber KC from Longevity Barbershop, and chopping up local entrepreneur opportunities, we were feeling the I Am Englewood love.
